The statistical data we collected from 50 public perfume formulas suggests that the mean dose for muguet shiseol is 1.5%. The typical lower limit is 1.0%, and the usual higher limit is 2.5%. The highest amount of muguet shiseol we encountered in any single formula is 19%, and the lowest was 0.075%.
Please note that according to the IFRA Standard Category 4, the level of muguet shiseol should not exceed 4.7% of the final product. Assuming that you will be using your formula for an alcoholic perfume at a 10% dilution, this means you should only use muguet shiseol at 47% or less of the formula.
